Den Osse Haven

Dive site Den Osse Haven is located exactly east of the catamaran beach of Den Osse harbour. The site is characterised by a breakwater perpendicular to the dike and the small beach formed in the corner. Diving is not allowed directly east of the breakwater (right side when entering the water), as this is where the harbour area begins. In addition, the fairway is quite close to the end of the dam, so don't swim too far out and make free ascents from deeper water.

Next to the breakwater is a fairly large shallow area. Incidentally, this offers excellent opportunities for snorkellers to explore the Grevelingen. You can dive just to the end of the breakwater here. From there, head east towards dive site Kerkweg. For experienced divers with enough air, it is possible to reach the next dive site. Remember that you also have to return (underwater or walking along the Langedijk).

You park here at Den Osse harbour. You then walk with your equipment via the path along the catamaran club towards the breakwater to enter the water.

What you'll find

  • Easily walk into the water via the beach
  • Fun diving around the breakwater
  • Follow the dike eastwards
  • Shallow return to the entry point
  • Suitable for snorkellers

Note: Note that the fairway is near the end of the breakwater. No free ascents from deeper water. No diving is allowed to the right of the breakwater (west side).
